Meetings are held quarterly at dates determined about a month in advance. While the group is small, the meetings are being held at a home in west Houston. An agenda is developed for each meeting, but there is time for deviation to topics of personal concern. For those unable to attend, summaries of items discussed (other than personal issues) are sent out via email. The current group is small, casual, friendly and eager to share and seek knowledge relating to carcinoid issues. Carcinoid patients and their caretakers are invited to attend the meetings, or just be put on a listing of Houston area carcinoid patients.
