Survivor Stories

For those of us with Carcinoid Cancer, the road to a proper diagnosis is often a long one. Because of the rarity of this neuroendocrine tumor, it’s many diverse symptoms and the inability of many physicians to put all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together, misdiagnosis is quite common.

Many of us who are members of this group we call Carcinoid Cancer Texas Survivors (CCTS) have a story to tell. Some of us have had longer journeys than others . . . but we hope that in sharing our experiences we can offer some insight to our struggles, while we strive to live life to the full, despite this disease!

We invite ALL Texas ‘Noids to contribute to the website and encourage everyone to share their stories.
